Yarrunga Community Centre has been part of the Croydon Hills community since November 1996.
We offer health and wellbeing programs, social groups, community information and education.
We are a member of Learn Local – a network of over 300 not-for-profit organisations across Victoria offering adult community education and training.
Yarrunga is a registered charity, and is managed by a volunteer Committee of Governance who are actively involved in the management, planning and overall operation of the Centre. Committee members are elected annually and new members are always welcome to apply.
“Yarrunga” means beneath tall trees and evokes images of people of people gathering to embrace the spirit of community through sharing and learning from each other.
If you’re a person who values connection, belonging, learning and thriving, you will find Yarrunga a safe and friendly community space full of opportunities and services to enrich and support you.
Please come and join our Yarrunga family and embrace all that we have to offer.

Yarrunga Community Centre is a non-profit organisation with a Committee of Governance, who meet once a month. We are always keen for new people to join our Committee and give us the value of their personal and professional skills – it doesn’t take a huge input of time, and all our committee members agree that they gain much in return. If you would like to find out more about joining our Committee please contact the Centre.
Yarrunga Community Centre is all about the locals who live, work or play in the area. Becoming a member gives you the opportunity to have a “voice” in the Centre where your aspirations, knowledge, and experience is valued and can be used to build a useful and relevant community resource. We are continuously working to provide what is needed and important, and welcome you to be part of that process by becoming a member.
To join, visit us during office hours or download a membership form here. Easy!
