Our volunteers are crucial to our Centre’s daily operations and are highly valued team members. Volunteering offers people the opportunity to engage in rewarding and fulfilling work while giving back to the community. It’s also a great way to update or learn new skills. We are always looking for volunteers to contribute to the Centre and right now we would love to hear from you if you are interested in helping.
Are you, or anyone you know, interested in giving back to the community or helping others? Then we need you to join our team of very special volunteers to help us out!
At the moment we are looking for volunteers to join our Committee of Governance – it’s very rewarding, but not too time consuming. If you would like to volunteer at Yarrunga Community Centre or joining our committee please contact us.
In the spirit of reconciliation Yarrunga Community Centre acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
Yarrunga Community Centre is a Learn Local organisation and Registered Charity.
Our Centre is closed on public holidays and during school holidays.
We have a number of community groups hiring our facilities and offering an amazing range of activities and programs. Contact them for more information.
