Yarrunga’s facilities include three meeting rooms with an attractive outlook to Yarrunga reserve and lake. These rooms can be joined to accommodate 100 people. We have training and meeting rooms with tea and coffee making facilities, an early learning centre with an outdoor playground, a recreation hall to accommodate up to 140 people, and a private office space. We can also provide access to a large kitchen. There’s plenty of parking at Yarrunga including wheelchair accessible car and bus parking spaces.
Meeting Room Hire
Yarrunga is a wonderful venue for mid week meetings, seminars or conferences. We have a number of rooms available for hire by the hour or you can book regular hire periods on a weekly or monthly basis.
Social Hire
We are a very popular facility for private functions - engagements, weddings, club presentation nights, corporate functions and birthdays.
Rooms 1, 2, 3: Three meeting rooms that can be used separately or opened into one large space to accommodate 100 people. It has extremely attractive views onto the Yarrunga reserve and lake. Perfect for seminars, training and conferences, celebrations, meetings, support groups and awards nights.
Room 4: Mid-size meeting room for 10 people seated at tables, and includes a whiteboard and kitchenette. With views to Yarrunga reserve and lake this room is perfect for small business meetings or support groups.
Private Office: Measuring 3.2 square metres by 3 square metres, this office space is situated at the rear of the Centre and is very private and quiet in non-peak periods - perfect for one-on-one meetings, consultations and undisturbed catch up time. Equipment available includes a desk and chairs, bookshelf space and split system heating and cooling.
Recreation Hall: The hall accommodates up to 140 people and is perfect for fitness classes, awards nights and fundraising events such as trivia nights and kindergarten discos.
Early Learning Centre: An open, light-filled space that includes child-sized facilities and access to a fully fenced outdoor play area. It is suitable for toddler's birthday parties.
Art Studio: The art studio is available for running workshops, or setting up children's activities. It has its own heating and cooling system and kitchenette.
All hires have access to plenty of chairs and tables, and a large kitchen with a stove, two ovens, microwave and fridge. There is also plenty of parking including wheelchair accessible car and bus parking spaces. During business hours we can also hire out a whiteboard, projector and screen.
